Through the power of music, Max Fite strives to enrich their songs with lifes' passion. Their first E.P. "SHAKE IT ON DOWN" and their upcoming singles, bring tones of rock ’n’ roll, blues and folk together, forming a striking aural experience. Acting as a road map to lifes' struggles and successes, the album showcases the art that comes out of invigorating triumph and despairing loss.

MAX FITELSON

Born in Florida and raised in Seattle, Max began attending shows at a young age, becoming heavily influenced by local legends such as Soundgarden, Nirvana, Mudhoney and Pearl Jam, just to name a few. Past work includes guitar work in The High In Lows and Fire and the Phoenix. Max transitioned to the position of singer/ songwriter out of a desire to share his experiences and tell his story. Naturally that progressed and Max Fite was formed.

CARL RAETHER

Hailing from Washington D.C., Carl has been all over the world playing for Joey Cape of Lagwagon, Superficial Saints and Christian Martucci of Stone Sour, just to name a few. Raised on the infamous punk/rock n roll scene in his hometown, Carl has long been made to be a musician. He can hold it down with the best of them and adds the swag on stage not often seen from a bass player.

TREVOR HOWARD

Best known for his band The Lungs and previous projects Thousand Watt Stare, Young Flood, and Glory Stompers, Trevor has long proved his chops as a player, performer and artist. Born in the Pacific Northwest, raised in Sweden and now based in Los Angeles he fills the perfect role filling out Max Fite with his cool tones, slick leads.

MIKE SMIRNOF

Also born and raised in Washington D.C. Mike is a drum lifer. He has toured all over the US, played on many recordings in such acts as The Deadmen, Honor By August, Spirit Animal, The Blackjacks and more. Mike hits hard as hell, has impeccable time and possesses a great deal of technical skill. Mike is a beast behind the kit.

“…‘Court Jester’ could have been an early Tom Petty song, full of cool rhymes, swag, and a Petty-esque drag of the final syllables on many of the vocal lines. ‘Time to Heal’ is glossed with wistful mourning as it talks about a lost relationship, and could easily be covered by any of today’s modern pop-country singers in the throes of a painful breakup or divorce.”

“'Court Jester' might be the best rocker here with its slide opener, a cool, different sounding vocal and bass and guitar locked in for a perfect plodding"

-Short and Sweet NYC

"Brilliant start for this new indie band"

The Rock Rag

"The new EP Shake It On Down by Max Fite feels like a raw take of an Oasis album with Fite’s guitars bringing out a grungier sound"

-AXS

"The first single from the new album titled “Devil in Me” is full of energetic guitar riffs and a heavy rock style"
